We also offer thematic workshops during the school holidays. Each workshop focuses on a specialist topic and is an ideal way to explore a new area, sharpen skills or try something just for fun. Workshops topics will be available a few weeks before the end of term. Contact us if you have a request!
The Hills Drama School is a registered provider for "CREATIVE KIDS" Which means you can use it anytime during the year for our term acting classes or even our holiday workshops!
Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher with a value of up to $100 per calendar year for each student aged 4.5 to 18 years old.

Each term there is a goal for the Children/Teen students to achieve.
NEW STUDENTS CAN JOIN AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH TERM (or midway if confirmed by the teacher)
TERM 1 - CREATIVE WRITING: The students will write a ten minute play based on improvising and creating stories in class. This will be submitted into a stage competition.
TERM 2 - STAGE PERFORMANCE: The students will perform their ten minute plays in a stage competition. This time will be spent on creating characters and preparing for stage.
TERM 3 - FILM: The students will learn acting for camera. By the end of the term they will create their own film, commercial, music video etc
TERM 4 - END OF YEAR SHOWCASE: The students will perform their best work on stage in front of family and friends.
These acting classes involve story telling, improvisation games & exercises, developing group devised scenes, acting for stage & camera and performance presentation.

Private Tuition is a great way for acting students to focus on their own personal needs in a one on one environment.
For children, parents are also welcome to sit in on the lessons to fully understand what is being taught.
